Waiting period of the Tata Punch 2021 SUV up to 9 months

Depending on the trim level, the waiting period for the Tata Punch varies from two to nine months.
The Aunty Punch is the latest offering from the Indian automaker, launched at Rs 5.49 lakh, (ex-showroom, Delhi). Since launching in October, the Punch has garnered quite a bit of interest, with our dealer sources telling us that some variants have a waiting period of over nine months.

Tata Punch: Which Variants Work Well?
According to our sources, it’s actually the base Pure variant that has been the top performing version of Punch so far, with a wait period of over nine months in some cities. However, the second lowest version, Adventure, also received high demand, with a waiting period of up to five months. The rest of the line has an average wait time of two to three months, depending on color and location.
Tata Punch: features offered
Here is a brief overview of the characteristics of each of the Punch finish levels have to offer. The base Pure trim comes with dual airbags, ABS, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, front power windows, central locking and engine start / stop technology.
Then the Adventure trim adds amenities such as an audio system with four speakers, steering wheel controls, power MVRVs, four power windows and full wheel covers.
The Accomplished trim comes equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, rearview camera, keyless system, cruise control, and wheels in 15 inch styled steel.
Finally, the premium Creative finish adds a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and 16 inch diamond alloy rims.
It should be mentioned that all the variants are also available with option packs which add functionality and cost between Rs 30,000 and Rs 45,000.
Tata Punch: engine and gearbox details
The Tata Punch is powered by a naturally aspirated 86 hp, 113 Nm, 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine which can be fitted with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic gearbox. Its fuel economy figure claimed by the ARAI is 18.97 kpl for the manual version and 18.82 kpl for the automatic variants.
Tata Punch: competition
The Tata Punch takes on tall sedans like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, with higher variants competing with the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger Compact SUVs.
